Outsourcing Software Testing and Development

Software and application development can be deployed and managed by an outsourcing company. India seems to be the hands-down winner these days although there are many competent companies in parts of the former Soviet Union, Eastern Europe and elsewhere.

Software and outsourcing trends go hand-in-hand with outsourcing in IT and Customer service. But there are differences. It's easy to tell when you are speaking (or emailing) a support rep in India or Slovakia, but perhaps impossible to tell whether your word processing or accounting sofware was created or tested overseas.
