Salaries in IT: 2018 Overview
Ukrainian IT sector has shown significant growth during 2018. Despite tough and controversial political situation, the IT industry is steadily developing regardless of the events. Foreign companies continue entering the local market in order to cooperate with the country’s talent pool. Such interest has resulted in a financial part also growing. The popular IT news portal DOU.ua has updated the salary info for Ukrainian IT specialists in the second half of 2018. Check the graphs below to see the dynamics of the salaries in the IT sector.
Average salaries dynamics
The graphs are made on the grounds of the most popular programming languages and specialists' positions by cities and in accordance with their experience.
Besides the divisions by the cities, we have also analyzed the average salary dynamics from 2013 till present. The salaries for all the positions have grown if compared to the previous years. Another interesting fact is that salaries in Lviv are growing alongside the salaries in Kyiv getting to the same level, hence the western capital is becoming more popular IT destination to work with.
